Berlin hosts international agroindustrial exhibition-fair “Green Week”!

In the capital of West Germany today the opening ceremony of the world’s largest agricultural Forum “Green Week-2012″. The solemn event was held at International Convention Center in the capital’s exhibition center “Messe Berlin”.

Opening the forum, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Protection, Ilse Aigner of Germany noted that, over the past years, “Green Week” was a unique showcase of the food industry, agriculture and horticulture. In the current format of the exhibition is held in the 77 th time. It involved more than 1,600 companies from 59 countries, including Russia. Partner country event this year was Romania.

Russia participates in the “Green Week” in the 18 th time. The forum has representatives from 15 federal subjects. Among them – the Krasnodar region, Yamal-Nenets autonomous district, Stavropol Territory, Moscow Region, Rostov, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Tver, Ivanovo, Kirov, Tomsk and Tambov regions, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and Mordovia.

The Russian Pavilion on Friday, January 20, will unveil Agriculture Minister Yelena Skrynnik.
The forum will include more than 300 different events with the participation of Russian experts.
